The idea for AbuseIO started at BIT as SpamCheck (version 1) and later evolved to AbuseReporter (version 2), but when others started to show their interest in a similair system, we’ve decided to create a community-driven and open source project for anyone that wants to use it. There are some similar projects however they are unnecessarily complex or require a big bag of money to use. AbuseIO’s purpose is to consolidate efforts by various companies and individuals to automate and improve the abuse handling process.
